Compression Level Settings
Our iPhone/iPad/iPod
Touch
software has default settings of compression level set as "1".
For majority
of customers this default setting will work best.
However for some customers it can improve quality to change
compression level settings.
Compression
level settings can be changed in the "Account Settings"
window.
Compression
Level 1
This is the default compression level configured during
installation of our iPhone software.
For majority of customers this setting will result in best
voice quality.
If you
experience any voice quality issues or other problems
using our iPhone software,
then you can change to a compression level that can be more
compatible to your ISP.
For an example
from our testing and feedback from our customers, than UAE
customers
using DU Internet connection it usually works best to have
compression level set at "4".
Note:
Currently compression level "3" is not in use and
inactive and should not be selected. |
